Carl P. Daw, Jr. is an Episcopal priest, author, college professor, and hymnwriter who is also the immediate past executive director of The Hymn Society in the United States and Canada. He is adjunct professor of hymnology in the Master of Sacred Music program at Boston University.

Thomas Pavlechko is currently cantor and composer-in-residence at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas, which he previously served from 1994-2000. He was also organist-choirmaster at Calvary Episcopal Church in Memphis, Tennessee, from 2000-2006. He has planned worship for twelve years using the Revised Common Lectionary in both parishes.
