Barbara Cawthorne Crafton is a popular preacher, retreat leader, and writer who teaches at Marble Collegiate Church and at the General Theological Seminary in New York City. Her articles have appeared in the New York Times, Reader's Digest, Episcopal Life, and many other publications. She is the author of many books, including Called, The Courage to Grow Old, The AlsoLife, Jesus Wept: When Faith and Depression Meet, Mass in Time of War, The Sewing Room, Living Lent, and many others.
Nicholas Knisely is the 13th Bishop of the Diocese of Rhode Island. He earned an undergraduate degree in physics and astronomy and did graduate work in cosmology and solid state physics before entering seminary. He taught physics and astronomy for seven years at Lehigh University and is part of the Episcopal Network for Science, Technology & Faith.
